Why isn’t my debit card working?
Here’s a quick checklist to help you troubleshoot any card issues you might encounter. If you’re still having trouble, don’t hesitate to give us a call—we’re here to assist you!
Did the fraud department text or email to confirm a transaction? (be sure to check your spam folder also)
Is my card frozen on the app? (you can freeze and unfreeze your card on the app)
Am I over my daily limit? (with PIN $500, without PIN $1500- limits reset daily at 2am)
Did I contact the CU to add a travel notification to make purchases outside my normal area?
Did I activate my card?
Did I enter the correct PIN?
Is my card expired? (i.e.: if a card expires 11/2025, the card will work until Dec 1st- a new card is mailed out a few works prior to the expiration date)
Is my card damaged?
Does my account have sufficient funds? (Debit transactions ONLY read Share Draft/Checking account balance NOT Share/Savings balances)
Did I opt out of receiving Fraud Alerts/Messages?
