Is an ATM card the same as a Debit card? No, ATM cards are linked only to the 01-Share Account.  They are for ATM withdrawals only.

How do I activate my new card? Call 1-855-726-4885 after 6:30pm on the day it’s issued to active and select your PIN.

Limit when using as Credit with NO PIN $1,500

Limits reset at 2PM daily

What do I do to raise my limit?

Temporary limit increases can be done by calling the Texan Sky office at 806-935-3333.

Permanent limit increases must be signed by the member.  Signing this form releases Texan Sky of a all liabilities for fraudulent transactions over the $1500.  The member then becomes responsible for all charges.

What do I do if I am traveling outside of the state?

Contact Texan Sky at 806-935-3333 to add a travel notification to your card.  This is done to avoid service interruptions or declined transactions.

Do transactions clear my account immediately?

Yes, when a PIN is entered.  When card is run as credit, it will clear your account when the merchant batches their machine.

Transactions are Pre-authorized, or put on hold for 24 hours,  meaning at the time the purchase was made, the funds were available in your account.

How do I freeze my card?

  1. Log in to the Texas Sky app
  2. Click on the Share Draft Account
  3. Click the Freeze Card button that is at the top of the screen.

**Cards that are frozen on the app can only be unfrozen through the app.

What do I do when my card expires?

A new card is mailed to the address on file 2 weeks before the cards expiration date.  It comes in an unmarked envelope.

What are the fees for a replacement card if lost or stolen?

$15

Should I set up recurring payments on my debit card?

No.  If the card is compromised or expires the transaction will not be processed.  It is better to set up recurring payments through your account.  Account number and Texan Sky’s Routing number are needed to set drafts up.

How do I dispute transactions that I did not authorize?

Contact Texan Sky so your card can be closed.  If it happens during non-business hours, use the app to freeze your card.  A dispute form with a description of the transactions, dates, amounts and a statement as to why the dispute is being filed is required on the signed form.

Make sure your phone number and e-mail address are kept up to date.  This is how the fraud department will contact you.

The Fraud Department will have to be contacted by the member with a Case number that was texted or emailed to them to unlock the card.

If you get a text and reply NO.  The card in question is immediately “hot carded” and a new card is ordered.

If you get a text and reply YES, that makes you liable for all transactions that clear your account.

DO NOT EVER SHARE YOUR PIN WITH ANYONE.  DOING THIS ALLOWS THEM TO DO ANY AND ALL TRANSACTIONS WITH YOUR CARD!
